The hotel is located at only 10 minutes from Mascota’s downtown, 5 minutes from the Airfield, at 2 hours and a half from Guadalajara City and 2 hours from Puerto Vallarta.

 

Mascota comes from the ancient word Amaxocotlan that means “Place of deers and snakes”. 

 

It was formerly inhabited by Tecos, and long after the Spanish conquest it was under the management of a territory called Valle de Banderas.

Mascota is located west the state of Jalisco, strategically located between Guadalajara (at 191 km), capital of the state, and Puerto Vallarta (at 78 km), one of the most famous tourist destinations in the state. There are two museums in Mascota. The anthropology museum. Small with a few exhibits. And the Raul Museum. This latter one is more interesting showing some old furnishings from the past.
