Although Puerto Rico is just 100 miles long by 35 miles wide Pueto Rico hotels offer a window to a magical world. The size of Puerto Rico makes it the smallest island of the Greater Antilles. Cosisting of an archipelago that includes the main island of Puerto Rico and several inocuous islands: Vieques, Culebra, Mona and numerous islets.
Do visit El Yunque rainforrest. Waterfalls and abundant rainfall (more than 200 inches a year) creates a jungle-like setting — lush foliage, waterfalls and rivers are a lovely sight.
The forest has a number of trails from which the jungle-like territory's flora and fauna can be appreciated.
And in San Juan one can try their luck in the casinos.
For some real magic on the south side of the island a wonderful experience in phorescent bay in Ponce, the marine life there gives off light when touched. The water lights up with any movement. We brought a bucket of water into the boat and we ran our hands through it, it looked like sparkling diamonds!!! AMAZING!!! Be sure you check the status of the moon, as a full moon will make it hard to see the water lighting up.
A girl poured the water over her body and she lit up.
