Laura Jean says:
I stayed here with friends, and we had a great time. The location couldn't be better: right in the heart of Merida's Paseo Montejo! Everything was close-by. On Sunday morning, our side of the street was closed off for Family Day, and we went for a morning walk along with families.
Grumpy Jonesie complains:
Very old hotel, the plugs throughout the hotel won't even accept 3-prong grounded plugs. Comment: so poor Grumpy Jonesie couldn't use his vacuum cleaner or electric drill. Buildings built before 1960 have 2 prong outlets.
Also applies to castles in Europe. meet Jonesie the grump
