Walking distance is Plaza Caracol the complete shopping mall in Cancun complete with internet cafe on mezzanine; US and Canadian counselates; restaurants; jewlry shops; clothing boutiques; arts and crafts from all over Mexico.

And right next to Plaza Caracol is Mayfair Plaza. Not as extensive as Plaza Caracol but another air conditioned mall worth your visit.

On the other side of Plaza Caracol is the wild Party Center. This is the place for shows. Bars. Arts and crafts. Discos. In this area find Dady O's. Slices. And the restaurant VIPS.

Pure shopping on the side of the party center is Plaza El Parian. More shops selling serapes than there are surfers in Calafornia.

Plaza Fiesta across the street has every fine example of art from every corner of Mexico.
