We have a variety of diving & adventure packages to choose from to take advantage of the beautiful Caribbean reefs and the awesome, crystal clear fresh water cenotes that are found in our area. The colorful fringing reefs along our local coast provide a vast spectrum of corals, sponges and hundreds of different varieties of tropical fishes and invertebrates. Inland, an unlimited supply of fresh water cenotes led to a vast network of galleries and passageways containing breathtaking formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Rated the best fresh water diving in the world (Rodale's People's Choice Awards), these underwater caverns have stunned and amazed all divers with their beauty and impressive formations.
Besides diving and snorkeling, you can enjoy fishing, sailing and exploring the many inlets and bays. Beautiful white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and warm tropical sun are a vacationer's delight. The Mayan archeological ruins and history add to the flavor to experience something special and unique. It's obvious that the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan peninsula creates a splendid adventure where anyone and everyone can find and enjoy the wealth of water activities and incredible tropical jungle.
AQUATECH/VILLAS DEROSA headquarters for divers. We are located at ADVENTURAS AKUMAL, 60 miles (96 kilometers) south of Cancun International Airport. This tiny resort is nestled in a beautiful bay three kilometers south of Akumal Beach or 28 kilometers north of TULUM. Our panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea allows great access to the reef diving and is ideally situated for diving the numerous freshwater cenotes such Cenotes Carwash, Chac Mool, Dos Ojos, Grand Cenote, PonDeRosa, Taj Mahal and the Temple of Doom.
All of the following packages include: Group airport transfers, 7 nights of accommodations (double occupancy) in our 2 or 3 bedroom condos, all meals, six diving days, group airport transfers, professional guide and/or divemaster, soft drinks and ice chests...minimum 4.
