Welcome to the ecological
park of Cancun also called the Museum
Casa Maya. Here find walking paths where you can stroll or jog in an ecological setting
surrounded by jungle where birds abound. There is a reproduction of how the Mayans lived
many centuries ago with a dweling as shown to the right. Esperanza who may have handled
your reservation thru CancunSteve poses near the well. There is a duck pond with water
turtles. Little monkey-like creatues with long tails who cross the trail right in front of
you. And a spot demonstrating how chicle (chewing gum) is made from trees. A small museum
displays an areal photo of Punta Cancun cerca 1972. At that time there was only one hotel
in that area. Do you know which one? Stop over in the museum to see.
|The crockodile to the left needs a drink. Can you feed him the French champagne? Click

crockodile. To know how to get to the park click anyhwere on the crocodile.
Also in this park is an area with spider monkeys; water turtles; crockodiles.
